National Construction Classification System – NSIK

This training programme is intended for professionals working in construction, design, asset management or fields related to BIM who wish to deepen their knowledge of structured data and classification in digital construction. Participants will explore how structured and standardised data enables automation, improves information quality and supports various applications – from energy modelling to project planning and building management. The course covers international classification systems (e.g., Uniclass, CoClass), the fundamentals of the National Construction Information Classifier (NSIK), coding rules and BIM integration with practical examples using relevant software. It is a comprehensive programme for anyone aiming to manage construction data more effectively and understand classification throughout the building lifecycle.
