3 reasons to choose lifelong learning

Continuous growth is the key to staying competitive

Professional knowledge and skills quickly lose relevance. Continuous learning helps you remain valuable and relevant in the labour market.

Adaptability is today’s most important competence

Rapidly changing technologies and work environments require flexibility and the ability to keep learning new things throughout life.

Learning gives more than knowledge – it opens up opportunities

From personal growth to career transformation, lifelong learning boosts self-confidence, broadens thinking, and opens up new directions.

F.A.Q.

Lifelong learning is the continuous renewal of knowledge and skills at every stage of life. It includes studies, short courses, professional development, and personal growth. To learn throughout life means to grow together with a changing world – staying open to new opportunities in both work and personal life.

KTU LLL is a modern learning space created by the university, focused on relevant content, flexible formats, and real benefits. You will find programmes for school students, teachers, business, and professionals seeking growth or career change. Topics include sustainability and green transformation, information technologies and artificial intelligence, professional growth and leadership, business and economics, technology and engineering, teaching/learning and educational innovation.
All programmes are developed in collaboration with KTU researchers, teachers, and industry experts, ensuring they are based on the latest scientific discoveries and technological progress. The knowledge gained can be directly applied in real-life situations.

Start with yourself: where are you now, and where do you want to be? Assess your goals, current knowledge level, and the competencies you want to develop.
Then, choose by field (e.g., sustainability, IT, leadership, or engineering), programme level (introductory or advanced), format (remote, on-campus, hybrid), duration, and price. Make sure to check if the programme is intended for your target group – school students, teachers, professionals, or organisations.
In short, the best programme is the one that fits your goals and helps you gain valuable skills.

Free programmes are a good way to explore a topic, but paid programmes offer more: structured learning, practical classes, and work with field experts. Upon completion, you receive an official certificate recognised in the labour market. Paid programmes also ensure quality, feedback, networking opportunities, and progress monitoring.

Yes. Some programmes are available on the kursuok.lt platform and can be funded with a state learning voucher (up to €500). Funding is granted only if the eligibility criteria are met and as long as the budget funds are available. Full conditions are available at: kursuok.lt/finansavimas.

Icons indicate which audience the programme is intended for (school students, teachers, career and business professionals, or KTU employees). Colours and visuals mark various learning areas, for example, green for sustainability, blue for IT and AI, and orange for educational innovation.
