Training Courses for Metrology Inspectors and Metrologists

The programme is designed for individuals seeking to obtain the qualification of metrology inspector or metrologist, in compliance with OIML D-14 requirements. Participants will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge for work in legal and industrial metrology fields that require specific technical-professional competence. The course covers measurement methods and instruments, metrological characteristics, error classification, legal and industrial metrology principles, quality management, and the organisation of measuring instruments maintenance and control. Practical training in laboratories includes calibration, verification and measurement result analysis. Upon successful completion and passing the exam, participants receive a certificate valid for 5 years.

In this training you will learn:
  • To understand the measurement object, methods and metrological characteristics of measuring instruments;
  • To classify measurement errors and apply calculation principles during verification and calibration;
  • To apply legal and industrial metrology principles in practical work;
  • To organise the quality maintenance of measuring equipment and processes in companies and laboratories;
  • To perform maintenance and control of measuring instruments according to regulations;
  • To prepare and manage the technical and documentary basis of measurements;
  • To use modern measuring instruments and methods for various measurements;
  • To apply metrological supervision procedures;
  • To assess international and national metrology principles and the classification of standards.
