Teachers in Scientific Research: How to Plan, Conduct, and Present Research

The programme is intended for teachers participating in educational field research who aim to strengthen their research competencies and develop scientific literacy. Participants will become familiar with the principles of research planning and implementation, the formulation of research problems, the application of research methods, data collection and analysis, and the presentation of research results. During practical activities, teachers will engage in research processes, learn to work in teams, reflect on research findings, and apply research methods in educational practice.

The programme is based on contemporary insights from educational science and research, contributing to the strengthening of teachers’ professional competencies, fostering collaboration between researchers and teachers, and promoting evidence-based education in schools.

In this training you will learn:

To explain the principles of research ethics, the research process, and the procedures for applying selected research methods.
To apply the data collection methods specified in a research project while adhering to research implementation requirements.
To collaborate effectively with researchers and other participants throughout the research process.
To analyse and interpret research findings and justify their relevance to educational practice.
To critically evaluate the potential application of research findings to address challenges in educational practice.
To formulate recommendations for the use and implementation of research findings in educational practice.
