Swedish Language (level A1)

Designed for adults with no prior knowledge of Swedish, aiming to reach A1 proficiency level. During the course, participants will learn the basics of grammar, noun and pronoun usage, verb tenses and common communication situations. The program focuses on introducing oneself, asking and answering simple questions, understanding short texts, dialogues and audiovisual content. The training develops practical language skills for everyday communication in Swedish. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate and ECTS-recognized credits.

Registration is carried out through the kursuok.lt platform. Funding: the project “Learn for Life!” (No. 10-009-P-0001), financed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility plan “NextGenerationLithuania” and the State Budget of the Republic of Lithuania.

In this training you will learn:

to describe yourself and your activities clearly and in a structured way using simple phrases and sentences;
to understand spoken language when it is delivered slowly, clearly and with long pauses;
to analyse audiovisual texts and extract key information from short, everyday-topic recordings;
to read short and simple texts;
to identify relevant words or phrases when allowed to revisit the text;
to participate effectively in spoken and written dialogues;
to convey information accurately and clearly in virtual environments;
to recognise and interpret relevant information from brief textual sources such as notes, posters or TV shows.
