Programming Basics and Virtual Reality

This programme is designed for students in Years 5–7 who want to explore the basics of programming, 3D modelling and virtual reality in a creative and engaging way. Participants will develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills while learning to create algorithms and understand programming logic. Using Delightex and Tinkercad tools, they will build 3D objects and explore the principles of modelling, animation and texturing. The course also covers the creation of virtual and augmented reality environments, focusing on spatial awareness and immersive design. Students will learn to manage projects, work in teams, and present their work. The final project will showcase their skills in using digital tools and applying knowledge in real-world creative scenarios, making this an ideal foundation for future studies in game design, engineering, architecture or digital arts.
