Lithuanian Language (level A1.2)

This course is designed for individuals with basic Lithuanian language skills (A1.1 level) who wish to improve communication in everyday situations. Participants will learn to use simple phrases and expressions for daily needs, introduce themselves and others, ask and answer basic questions, and engage in simple conversations when spoken to slowly and clearly. Through roleplays, real-life simulations, and group work, learners will gain confidence using Lithuanian at work, while traveling, or accessing services. Participants will also become familiar with Lithuanian cultural and social contexts to better integrate into society and the labor market. Classes are held in small groups with a flexible schedule. Upon completion, participants receive a non-formal education certificate.

In this training you will learn:
  • To use basic verb, noun, numeral, and adjective forms in communication;
  • To ask and answer about travel, transport, and directions;
  • To buy goods, order services, and request help or make appointments;
  • To express opinions, give and receive advice, and say compliments;
  • To talk about health, work, leisure, studies, and hobbies;
  • To greet, wish well, and respond to invitations and greetings.
