Lithuanian Language and Literature State Exam: Course Review Strategy

The programme is designed for Lithuanian language and literature teachers who aim to systematically review the course content and effectively prepare students for the Lithuanian Language and Literature State Matura Examination (VBE). The course consists of a four-lecture cycle covering the consolidation of essential knowledge, course structuring and summarising models, as well as writing workshops.

During the training, participants will deepen their understanding of VBE assessment criteria, learn how to select the most relevant authorial contexts, plan the teaching process, and apply effective writing strategies that help students produce high-quality exam essays.

The course is delivered through self-paced learning in the Moodle environment, where participants are provided with video lectures and presentation slides. All course materials are accessible at any time, allowing teachers to learn at their own pace.

In this training you will learn:

to understand the structure and assessment criteria of the VBE;
to select and systematize key knowledge required for the exam;
to apply course summarization models in teaching practice;
to analyze authors and literary works using essential contexts;
to plan, structure, and assess student essays;
