KTU JKM Summer Day Camp for 1st-4th Grade Students

This programme is designed for primary school students in grades 1–4 who want to explore information technology and develop creative digital skills through practical and engaging activities. The training introduces basic computer use, online safety, programming fundamentals, robotics, and digital project creation using Scratch, Logo, and Delightex tools. A strong focus is placed on hands-on learning, where children create animations, solve logical challenges, and work collaboratively on creative tasks. The programme also integrates ecology, information literacy, and creative reuse activities to strengthen problem-solving, teamwork, and responsible use of technology. Learning takes place in laboratories, educational spaces, and outdoor environments, allowing students to apply their skills in different contexts. By the end of the programme, participants present a completed digital project while gaining practical IT experience and confidence in using digital tools.

In this training you will learn:
  • to use computers and basic digital tools;
  • to create simple digital projects and animations;
  • to apply programming and logical thinking fundamentals in practice;
  • to use the internet safely and responsibly;
  • to search for and evaluate information from different sources;
