Juniors (Fundamentals of IT)

This programme is designed for students in Years 8–9 who want to gain solid digital skills and confidently work with Microsoft Office applications as well as learn the basics of programming in C++ using Code::Blocks. Participants will enhance their proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint, complete practical assignments and solve real-world IT challenges. The second part of the course introduces core programming concepts such as syntax, logic, data types and algorithms, guiding students through the creation of simple programs and exam preparation. The programme fosters digital literacy, logical thinking, independence, and creativity, while building a strong foundation for further studies in IT, engineering or the sciences.

In this training you will learn:

To work professionally with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
To prepare text, spreadsheet and presentation documents;
To understand C++ programming syntax and structure;
To write simple programs using the Code::Blocks environment;
To solve algorithmic tasks and prepare for exams;
To apply IT skills independently and creatively.
