Introduction to Practical Electronics

Training for STEAM teachers on practical electronics, Arduino applications, and subject, didactic, and digital competencies. Participants will explore current trends in electronics education, effective lesson planning, and project implementation strategies, including active learning methods, formative assessment, and digital tools. Practical workshops will cover electronic components, sensors, microcontroller programming, and data processing, enabling the creation of educational projects and differentiated tasks. The programme is based on the latest research in electronics and education, supporting teachers’ professional development, improving teaching quality, and fostering students’ critical thinking, creativity, and interest in STEM subjects.

In this training you will learn:
  • To understand globally recognized models of practical electronics education and the characteristics of students’ abilities, learning needs, and educational principles;
  • To identify students’ electronics and engineering competency levels, their achievement potential, and influencing factors;
  • To apply electronics education content, including Arduino projects, sensor and microcontroller systems, and data processing;
  • To create differentiated and individualized teaching projects in the context of electronics and STEAM subjects;
  • To implement new teaching strategies, methods, and learning environment adaptations to turn students’ potential into actual achievements;
  • To assess students’ achievements, analyze their progress, and develop a motivating electronics learning system;
  • To apply acquired knowledge and skills in practice, fostering students’ creativity, critical thinking, and engineering abilities.
