Get Ready for National Matura Examination in Lithuanian Language and Literature (12th Grade)

The program is intended for 12th-grade students and Lithuanian language teachers who seek to deepen their knowledge of Lithuanian language and literature while preparing for the state or school-level Matura exam. The course consists of two modules that correspond to Part II of the exam structure – developing essay composition skills and analyzing literary works. Participants will become familiar with the exam evaluation criteria, methods for effective text planning and argumentation, and will learn to apply broader context in literary interpretations. The program is developed by Dr. Mindaugas Grigaitis, a teacher expert in the humanities.

In this training you will learn:
  • to understand the exam structure and assessment criteria;
  • to analyse literary texts using broader context;
  • to plan, structure and write argumentative essays;
  • to enhance skills in argumentation, analysis and language expression.
