Get Ready for National Matura Examination in Lithuanian Language and Literature (11-12th Grade)

The programme is intended for students in Year 11–12 and Lithuanian language teachers aiming to deepen their knowledge of Lithuanian language and literature in preparation for the school or state matriculation exam. The course consists of three modules aligned with the exam structure – oral exam preparation, argumentative essay writing, and literary analysis. Participants will learn the assessment criteria, how to structure texts effectively, and how to use wider context in literary interpretation. The course is led by Dr Mindaugas Grigaitis, expert teacher and Chair of the Lithuanian Language and Literature Teachers’ Association.

In this training you will learn:
  • to understand the exam structure and assessment criteria;
  • to analyse literary texts using broader context;
  • to plan, structure and write argumentative essays;
  • to apply speaking strategies for the oral exam;
  • to enhance skills in argumentation, analysis and language expression.
