Computer Numeral Control Programming

This programme is designed for machine tool programmers, technical specialists and vocational teachers who want to acquire practical competences in CNC machine programming. The training develops skills required to prepare parts and assemblies for CNC machining, from creating a 3D CAD model to applying machining programmes in production. Participants learn cutting tool selection, machining parameter setting, CNC programming using G codes and cycles, manual (interactive) programming and the use of CAM software packages. The programme is practice-oriented and covers turning, 2D and 3D milling as well as multi-axis machining operations. After completing the programme, participants are able to prepare complete machining solutions from model to NC programme.

In this training you will learn:
  • to analyse cutting tool geometry and select appropriate machining parameters;
  • to create and edit 3D part and assembly models in a CAD environment;
  • to prepare models for CNC machining and define technological solutions;
  • to develop CNC programmes using G codes, cycles and offsets;
  • to perform manual (interactive) CNC machine programming;
  • to apply CAM systems for turning, 2D, 3D and multi-axis operations;
  • to generate, verify and transfer NC programmes to machine tools.
